What is?
 

It is a fast, safe and non-invasive diagnostic method that we have in the office.

 

What is seen?

 

Tendons (if it is broken or there are calcifications), ligaments, joints, cartilage, nerves, arteries... And it lets us know if there is a problem to solve it immediately.

 

What is it for?
 

To diagnose the problem responsible for joint or tendon pain that occurs. Specific local treatments such as targeted infiltrations with corticosteroids or hyaluronic acid are also performed through the ultrasound.

How does it feel? 

 

It's a cold gel transducer. It is placed in the place of pain and does not have any associated problem, it does not irradiate.
