Therapeutic Tai Chi

Currently Tai-chi has spread and popularized throughout the globe thanks to the multiple physical, mental and spiritual benefits that its practice provides. The Tai-chi practitioner finds peace because he works calmly, in stillness: without rushing or rushing. It develops constancy and detachment, because it does not pursue an end, it does not seek the fruit of action, and in this moving meditation the practitioner comes to unite his energies with those of the universe, finding in it a renewal of body, mind and spirit.

In the daily practice of the same movements, he also achieves the wonderful secret of feeling novelty in repetition, the unknown in the known, the eternal in the ephemeral.

Practicing movements synchronized with deep, relaxed breathing revitalizes the body, centers the mind, and awakens the spirit. Its health benefits are numerous: it increases flexibility and muscle strength, balances the functioning of internal organs, helps lower blood pressure, prevents cardiovascular diseases and improves sexual relations, helps combat stress.

The more we advance in age, the more sedentary our lives become. Tai-chi is a type of gymnastics that, due to its multiple qualities, can fill the void left by exercises and sports performed in youth and provide us with treasures of peace and health throughout a lifetime.
