"Auricula", related to the pinna of the ear and "therapy" of treatment, is a modality of treatment of the patient through the stimulation of the auricular pavilion with the aim of alleviating pathologies in other regions of the body.

 

Auriculotherapy can be defined as that science of complementary medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases through the stimulation of energy points located in the auricular pavilion to obtain a therapeutic result.
